Description Employer: Amazon.com Services LLC Position: Instock Manager II (multiple positions available) Location: New York, New York Multiple Positions Available: 1. Analyze and coordinate the logistics of launch system and process improvements with vendors through the full order management, operations, inventory management, promotions, purchasing, customer segmentation and demand planning lifecycle. 2. Analyze data using SQL and Excel and improve inventory availability and efficiency 3. Utilize analytical tools forecast and manage efficient inbound and outbound inventory flows and health, including projecting, purchasing and removing unproductive inventory 4. Collaborate with Vendors and other stakeholders to achieve KPI goals. 5. Work with Amazon’s existing vendor base to ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods to our fulfillment centers; plan product transitions and reduce errors in forecasting and with supply chain to optimize space utilization; develop and launch projects that will streamline supply systems and processes and drive operational improvements. Basic Qualifications A master's degree or foreign equivalent in operations research, supply chain management, engineering, business administration/management, mis, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered, project/program management, or re-engineering or process improvement. In the alternative, employer will accept a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in operations research, supply chain management, engineering, business administration/management, mis, or related discipline followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in project/program management or reengineering or process improvement. Experience must include: 1.1 year of experience in business operations within supply chain, distribution, manufacturing and related engineering operations in a cross-functional organization utilizing sophisticated quantitative analysis and process improvement methodologies including lean process manufacturing and related performance metrics for continuous improvement, optimization and to increase efficiency within processes. 2.1 year of experience conducting statistical analysis and performing data mining utilizing tools including, excel and related business intelligence tools. 3.1 year of experience improving working efficiency. 4.1 year of experience in material planning. The base pay range for this position in New York City is USD $114,982 - $141,100 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
