About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Institutional Investment Operations Associate


In this role, you will:

Provide operational and customer support for lifecycle tasks for institutional tradesAssist with client account onboarding, input and monitoring of cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, asset servicing structured loan operations, general ledger reconciliation and work to resolve confirmation and ISDA related issuesAssist in gathering data to support resolution of issuesReceive direction from manager and exercise judgment within defined parameters of the area while developing understanding of various functions, policies and proceduresCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

6+ months of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Responsibilities to include:

Support the lifecycle of Institutional trades while managing a larger group or multiple groups covering the following functions; T0 Blotter checks, PNL Attribution review, Trace monitoring, Investigation & resolution of  exceptions from Internal & external reconciliations for OTC Derivative asset class, monitoring various queues, performing key trade life cycle functions such as  trade affirmations, allocations & validation, producing key metrics & varied reporting.Perform daily Profit and Loss reporting & attribution reportingPerform daily reconciliation of Profit and Loss with finance and system of recordPerform daily reconciliation of unrealized PNL, realized PNL and marketing fee between system of record and Front OfficeResponsible for documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures for PNL TeamPerform other ad hoc projects as assignedDemonstrate good understanding of financial products & middle office controls.Knowledge of key regulations impacting the financial markets ( Dodd frank)Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control developmentCollaborate with all business partners and various departments, create efficiencies and mitigate risk for team and organizationInterpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexityAbility to accurately process high volumes of work within established deadlinesDemonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness in all areas, foster team work
