Job Description

As an Installer, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing project plans and specifications to understand installation requirements. You will install and set up various types of equipment, including machinery, electronic devices, and industrial systems. The role involves assembling and integrating components according to provided instructions and technical drawings, performing routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment, and ensuring safety compliance at all times.

Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to understand installation requirements.Install and set up various types of equipment, including machinery, electronic devices, or industrial systems.Assemble and integrate components according to provided instructions and technical drawings.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment to address issues or prevent malfunctions.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in equipment installation may be required.5-7 years of previous experience as an equipment installer.Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.Strong mechanical and technical skills.Ability to use hand and power tools for assembly and installation.Attention to detail and precision in equipment setup.Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.Physical fitness and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Technical certifications or vocational training in equipment installation.Experience with sheet metal and blueprint reading.Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting installation issues.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, well-lit, and clean. Employees work Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with additional hours as needed, but not permanently. There is no travel required, and the workplace is equipped with the necessary tools and technology to support your role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
