Job Title: Installation Technician

*Pay Range: $18-$20 (Flexible Starting Wage with Previous Furniture Assembly/Install Experience)
*Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Installation Technician to join our team. This role is hands-on and physically demanding, requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service to customers.
*Key Responsibilities:
Pull products from the warehouse and load/unload trucks using equipment or by handCarry products up and down stairs when elevators are not availableOffload, identify, and stage products for installation; remove debris as neededAssemble, align, and level systems furniture; install electrical components and verify functionalityInstall, adjust, and assemble case goods and seating productsDisassemble, move, and reassemble systems furniture as requiredReview floor plans before and during installation to understand layout and critical dimensionsUse hand, power, and mechanical tools safely and correctlyAttend team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned*Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 100 lbsProficiency utilizing hand and power toolsAbility to read a tape measure and interpret instructional blueprintsExperience with assembly or carpentry preferredValid driver’s license and clean back ground check (no unlawful acts on record)*Additional Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in contracting, installation, carpentry, or furniture assemblyStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
