**Installation Technician** Job Description As an Installation Technician, you will assemble large-scale structural and automation equipment according to project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of hand and power tools to ensure efficient construction. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines. Attention to detail is crucial, as well as the ability to perform physical tasks such as crouching, bending, pulling, and lifting. The role involves heavy lifting activities and working at heights up to 17’ while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities + Assemble large-scale structural and automation equipment following project specifications. + Utilize knowledge of hand and power tools for efficient construction. + Work independently and collaboratively within a team to meet project deadlines. + Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in assembly tasks. + Engage in heavy lifting activities as required by the project. + Comfortably work at heights up to 17’ and adhere to safety protocols. + Perform physical tasks such as crouching, bending, pulling, and lifting. Essential Skills + 1-5 years of experience in assembly, construction, automotive, or similar industry. + Proficient with a scissor lift; forklift proficiency is a plus. + Desire to work in a fast-paced construction or assembly environment. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. + Ability to read and understand work instructions and drawings for accurate assembly. + Working knowledge of automation components such as motors, belts, pulleys, sheet metal assemblies, and hardware. + Experience with standard hand tools like socket & box wrenches, hand drills & impact drivers, and allen keys. + Experience with standard machine shop tools and tool safety, including belt sanders, band saws, bench grinders, and drill presses. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with industrial-scale tools like mills and lathes is a plus. + Familiarity with standard wiring components, including reading circuit diagrams, swage connectors, stripping & terminating wires, and screw gate terminals, is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
