**Job Title: Installation Technician**
Job Description
This position involves the layout, wiring, and mounting of hydraulics, electronics, and PTOs on custom truck bodies. You will set up and operate machines that cut, bend, saw, and punch steel into custom parts required for body mounting. Proficiency in using overhead chain hoists, forklifts, handcarts, and various hand and power tools is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Layout and wire hydraulics, electronics, and PTOs on custom truck bodies.
+ Operate machines to cut, bend, saw, and punch steel into custom parts.
+ Utilize overhead chain hoists, forklifts, handcarts, and other tools.
+ Read work orders, blueprints, and measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
+ Troubleshoot and solve problems related to installation and assembly.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in hand and power tools.
+ Experience with hydraulics and wiring.
+ Ability to read blueprints and perform fabrication and assembly tasks.
+ Six months of experience in heavy installation, preferably on vehicles.
+ Basic math skills for machine setup and operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with hand plasma and wire feed welding is preferred.
+ Ability to pick, push, and move objects up to 50 lbs.
+ Capability to perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, carrying, and climbing.
+ Experience working in a heavy industrial atmosphere with exposure to grease, oil, heat, and humidity.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large open factory/plant floor with dim lighting due to welding stations. The facility is equipped with large overhead cranes and provides good ventilation. Expect a heavy industrial atmosphere with exposure to grease, oil, heat, and humidity. Physical requirements include climbing ladders, using creepers under chassis, and working in occasionally cramped and wet conditions. Employees must wear steel-toed shoes while standing on a concrete floor throughout their shift.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
