Job Description

Join a long-standing and reputable automotive distributor as an Installation Technician. Utilize your mechanical expertise in the automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance industry to contribute to the assembly and installation of equipment. Work on brand new vehicles including pickup trucks, domestic chassis, and cargo vans.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble and install equipment such as service bodies, snow plows, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items.Read work instructions and installation materials accurately to properly assemble equipment.Test performance before delivering units for a final audit.Essential SkillsMechanical repairProficiency with hand and power toolsKnowledge of electrical wiringWelding and fabrication (huge plus)Automotive repairUnderstanding of plumbing, carpentry, chassis systems, and hydraulicsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
