**Job Title: Facilities Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Facilities Technician to join our team. In this role, you will visit customer sites to install CO2 monitors, which involves low voltage work similar to installing fire alarms. This position has arisen due to new CO2 regulations, and involves working with restaurants, gas stations, and other commercial clients. The installation process is straightforward, using CAT 5 cabling. This role does not involve working in residential areas.
**Responsibilities**
+ Visit customer sites to install CO2 monitors.
+ Perform light low voltage work akin to fire alarm installation.
+ Install monitors using CAT 5 cabling.
+ Document all site visits and installations.
+ Report daily mileage for reimbursement.
+ Meet a quota of 3 to 4 installations per day.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Willingness to learn.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to communicate politely with customers.
+ Honest and independent work ethic.
**Why Work Here?**
Our organization offers flexible scheduling where technicians can work Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts, provided they meet their daily installation quota. We encourage independence, allowing you to create your own schedule post-training. There is also the opportunity for overtime, with up to 50 hours per week, and we offer mileage reimbursement of 70 cents per mile.
**Work Environment**
This role involves working independently after an initial training period. You will report to a depot each morning to receive your assignments for the day. The role involves travel, as you will drive your own car to customer sites, which may be up to 1.5 hours away. Travel time is compensated. After installations are completed, you will return to the depot to report mileage and installation completion. The typical workday runs from 7 am to 5:30 pm. During the first two weeks, you will undergo basic onboarding and shadow a senior technician to learn the installation process.

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
