**Job Title: Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a technician where you will split your time between the shop and the field, performing general labor and construction tasks. You will be responsible for installing and assembling metal parts, using hand and power tools, and working on both architectural and ornamental metalwork. **Responsibilities** + Assist in building and assembling metal and steel panels. + Travel to job sites using personal vehicle. + Operate power tools, hand tools, and basic machinery. + Perform tasks both indoors and outdoors as needed. + Lift and carry materials weighing 50+ pounds. + Conduct general clean-up of the facility and crating of parts. + Properly load and unload trucks. + Sand and prep metal surfaces. + Perform pallet and shrink wrapping tasks. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in reading a tape measure. + Ability to use saws and other cutting tools. + Experience with electric sanders and combo squares. + Blueprint reading skills. + Capability to use band saws and table saws. + Grinding, polishing, and sanding abilities. + Willingness to train on a forklift and become certified. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with general labor and construction. + Familiarity with landscaping and production tasks. + Knowledge of welding and glazing is a plus. **Why Work Here** Experience the opportunity to cross-train into other roles such as welding and glazing. The shop does not have air conditioning, so be prepared to work in a hot environment. Steel-toed boots and long pants are required from day one. Expect a schedule from 5 AM to 3:30 PM with potential overtime. Sites include Old Town Scottsdale, Downtown Tempe, and Downtown Phoenix. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
