Position OverviewWe are looking for an Inspector to support a busy production and shipping team. This role blends hands-on inspection tasks with administrative and warehouse responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, able to read and interpret technical blueprints, and confident using Excel and Word to generate compliance documentation.
Primary DutiesInspect HighTower components to verify coating coverage, ensuring no exposed metal remains.Separate parts into three categories: acceptable, requires touch-up, or rejected.Perform touch‑up work on parts in-house when needed.Record all counts—good, touch‑up, and rejected—on the Traveler documentation.Package approved parts into paper bags holding 200 pieces, verify weight, and remove 8 parts for testing (leaving 192 per bag).Create accurate labels for packaged items and generate Certificates of Compliance using Microsoft Word.Maintain shipping and Traveler information using a simple Excel tracking sheet.Review Primer and Solgel certifications from HighTower for accuracy and document shipments in the Gil Calendar.Transport completed products to the shipping department.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong general computer skills.Ability to read and understand detailed drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.Familiarity with shop math, including trigonometry and dimensional calculations.Basic understanding of BQMS procedures and general aerospace or machine shop terminology.Completion of Bushing and Bearing Installation certification/evaluation.Hands-on experience using inspection tools such as micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.Preferred Qualifications2–3 years of recent experience in an aircraft machine shop or similar environment.Ability to interpret written instructions and create simple written documentation.Comfort working with technical, engineering, and quality‑related materials.Knowledge of probability, statistics, geometry, and trigonometry.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Why You’ll Enjoy This RoleJoin a team that values precision, awareness, and continuous improvement. Work EnvironmentThis role involves time in office areas as well as on the manufacturing floor. Proper PPE is required, which may include safety footwear, hearing protection, respirators, face shields, and other equipment depending on the task. No travel is necessary.Job Type & Location

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
