Job Title: Inspector Packer
Job Description

As an Inspector Packer, you will be an integral part of the production floor, ensuring the quality of goods by inspecting and verifying the integrity of packages. Your role will involve checking code dates on packages, ensuring they are in the correct format, and confirming that packages pass through the metal detector properly.

ResponsibilitiesDocument findings and processes in English.Support the maintenance, verification, and updates of the company’s food safety and quality programs to ensure compliance.Conduct daily inspections of production lines and review quality report forms to verify adherence to specifications and safety protocols.Monitor compliance with the allergen control program and ensure all quality and food safety standards are consistently met.Complete and ensure the accuracy of daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks and maintain up-to-date cleaning records.Perform allergen testing as required.Essential Skills1+ years of GMP quality inspection experience.Ability to read and interpret details.Attention to detail.Ability to write and communicate in English.Ability to speak Spanish.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in foods quality inspection is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and resembles the pleasant aroma of a coffee and bakery shop. It operates within a GMP environment with mostly gravity-fed high-speed packaging equipment. The facility is well-lit and spacious, primarily handling dry goods like powders. There are plans for expansion and possibly adding to the current building.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
