Confirms procedures are followed and material used conforms to specifications. + Utilizes engineering inspection practices to perform rudimentary mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work to date. + Maintains Inspector's daily report of assigned work activities, contactor labor and equipment, quantity of material received and verified. + Assists in on-site material testing and produces as-constructed sketches as required. + Performs other duties as assigned. **What You'll Need:** + High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 1 year of construction experience. + All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements. **What You'll Bring:** + Reads and understands plans and specifications. + Recognizes, documents, and escalates field issues. + Calculates pay quantities. + Understands change conditions. + Understands Microsoft Office Suite and other computer skills at an intermediate level. + UTA rail enthusiast + Utah driver’s license **What We Prefer:** + 1 year of roadway or drainage construction experience + Bituminous or concrete paving experience + ATTSA Traffic Control, SRDTT, Moisture/Density Gauge, or ACI/CTT Certifications (or willingness to get them fast) + Direct UDOT project experience **Additional Information** Click here for benefits information: HNTB Total Rewards Click here to learn more about Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. \#AK #ConstructionManagement .
