**Job Title: Inspector** Job Description The Inspector will evaluate and determine the condition of in-service landing gear and hydraulic components by assessing wear and corrosion. This involves both visual and dimensional inspections using precise measuring tools such as micrometers, gauges, and indicators. The role ensures that all articles are maintained according to the customer's continuous airworthiness program. The Inspector will collaborate with machinists, operators, technicians, and various department leads, offering technical support to resolve technical challenges. Additionally, the Inspector will ensure that all maintenance activities are thoroughly documented in compliance with internal, customer, OEM, and FAA standards, including documentation on work orders, travelers, bills of materials, picture sheets, and logs. The role also includes implementing customer and OEM technical data into repair schemes. Responsibilities + Evaluate and determine the condition of landing gear and hydraulic components for wear and corrosion. + Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using tools like micrometers, gauges, and indicators. + Ensure maintenance is in line with the customer's continuous airworthiness program. + Collaborate with machinists, operators, technicians, and department leads to resolve technical issues. + Document all maintenance activities per internal, customer, OEM, and FAA requirements. + Implement customer and OEM technical data into repair schemes. Essential Skills + Proficiency in quality control and usage of precision measuring tools and equipment. + Ability to read, write, and understand English. + Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills. + Experience in identifying different plated surfaces such as chrome, nickel, and cadmium. + Capability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous employment experience in related services and practical experience with inspection methods. + Understanding of materials, tools, and equipment generally used for maintenance activities in a repair station. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of VALENCIA, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
