Job Description
The Inspector will conduct thorough inspections of military products at various stages of production, including initial, mid-process, and final inspections. They will be responsible for maintaining the calibration of measurement equipment and tracking documents and records related to quality assurance. Inspections will involve using calipers, micrometers, and gauges on diverse components, such as metal pieces and tents designed for hazardous material containment, ensuring they meet government and military standards.
ResponsibilitiesPerform initial, mid-process, and final inspections of military products.Maintain calibration of measurement equipment.Track and manage documents and records related to quality assurance.Utilize calipers, micrometers, and gauges for inspections.Ensure all parts meet government and military standards.Spend time both in the office and on the production floor.Essential SkillsProficiency with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.2-5 years of experience using dial inspection equipment.Ability to read and interpret product drawings.Capability to interpret Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in quality control and inspection.Understanding of risk mitigation processes.Work Environment
The work environment is not fully climate-controlled, with fans available during hot weather and heaters during cold conditions. Candidates should dress in long sleeves and long pants, as they may work with fiberglass. The role includes time spent both in the office and on the production floor.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $24.00/hr.
