Position: Quality Inspector

Location: Fort Collins, CO

Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Compensation: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Overview:

We are currently seeking a meticulous and experiencedQuality Inspectorto join our manufacturing team in Fort Collins, CO. This role is essential to ensuring that all incoming parts and final assemblies meet stringent quality standards required in regulated industries such as aerospace, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials and final assemblies to verify compliance with specifications.Interpret and analyze technical documentation including blueprints, routings, and evaluation sheets.Utilize SAP to access drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Operate precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, and microscopes.Conduct dimensional inspections and maintain accurate quality records.Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve discrepancies and support continuous improvement initiatives.Perform final inspections on completed assemblies, with a goal of 10 assemblies per day following training.

Qualifications:

1–2 years of experience in quality inspection or quality assurance.Prior experience in regulated industries (aerospace, medical, or pharmaceutical) is required.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and metrology equipment.Basic knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with quality control processes and documentation.Effective communication skills for identifying and reporting quality issues.Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
