**Job Title: Inspector**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure quality processes and procedures are followed, performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections. This role requires meticulous documentation and adherence to AS9102 standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections
+ Complete required documentation
+ Conduct AS9102 first article inspections and other extensive inspections per specifications
+ Document all inspections in accordance with procedures and processes
+ Develop and review inspection plans
+ Ensure quality standards are met for all components and assemblies for final acceptance
+ Maintain parts history folders, inspection reports, and prints/drawings
+ Calibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipment
+ Perform visual inspection
+ Conduct hardness and electrical conductivity testing
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-5 years of Aerospace Inspection experience
+ Experience with AS9102 Inspection standards
+ Proficient in inspecting tubular and cylindrical components
+ Ability to use manual and digital calipers and micrometers
+ Experience with calipers, micrometers, surface plate, and gauges
+ Ability to measure tolerances to the tenths with no error
+ Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
+ Good computer skills for documentation in ERP systems
+ CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience is a plus but not required
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading
+ Mechanical/Quality Inspection experience
+ Knowledge of GD&T symbols

**Work Environment**
You will work in a large, non-union manufacturing environment. Our company designs and manufactures precision metallic tubular parts and assemblies for the commercial aircraft, aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. **Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SANTA FE SPRINGS, California.
**Shift**
We currently have 1st and 2nd shift open.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
