Job Title: Inspector, QualityJob Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Inspector. The Inspector will conduct basic routine inspections of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical materials, components, and sub-assemblies. This role focuses on visual inspection to ensure conformity with quality assurance standards. Strong attention to detail, as well as English written and verbal comprehension, are essential. While knowledge of tools is less critical, familiarity with SAP and MES is a bonus. Experience in the medical device industry is not required but desired, with one year of experience preferred.

ResponsibilitiesPerform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures.Record inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures.Operate all associated test and measurement equipment as instructed and documented in procedures.Assist in the development of inspection methods and recommend changes to policies and procedures.Document non-conformances in the Non-Conforming Material Review system.Participate in GR&R studies as directed by engineers or technicians.Collect and analyze data for First Article inspections.Perform testing and inspection in accordance with special test requests.Contribute to test and measurement equipment selection.Assist in training other inspection staff in equipment use.Request certifications from vendors.Assist in gathering, analyzing, and trending data.Perform miscellaneous tasks as required.Support all Company initiatives as identified by management in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.Essential SkillsStrong attention to detail.English written and verbal comprehension.Computer skills.Quality control experience.Experience with calipers and micrometers.Visual inspection skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of SAP and MES is a bonus.Experience in the medical device industry is desired.One year of relevant experience preferred.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
