**Job Title: Inspection Technician** **Responsibilities** + Perform periodic facility inspections and surveys on utility-owned gas meters. + Complete all necessary documentation accurately. + Ensure readings and records comply with company and regulatory standards. + Support the successful completion of regulatory audits and inspections. + Conduct integrity surveys, including direct assessments and close interval surveys. + Perform audit reviews with operations and provide support during audits. **Essential Skills** + Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. + Professional demeanor suitable for entering customers' homes. + Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and articulate job details. + Basic mechanical ability; experience in cable tech, HVAC, piping, or auto mechanics is advantageous. + Capability to walk, climb stairs, and ladders for 8 hours per day in various weather conditions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Strong organizational, interpersonal, and initiative skills. + Ability to work both independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision. + Intermediate knowledge of mathematics, algebra, and mechanical aptitude. + 1+ year of driving experience. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
