Overview
• Prepare, organize, and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA
• Assist providers with administrative tasks such as forms, referrals, and documentation
• Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and electronic communications
• Manage office supplies and coordinate orders as needed
• Support billing processes by collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, and assisting with authorizations
Coordination & Communication
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Communicate delays or schedule changes to patients in a timely and courteous manner
Requirements
• Fluent 10-finger typist (without looking)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Data Entry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or customer service setting strongly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills
