About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and talented Inside Sales Associate (Internal Business Development Manager) to join our Americas Sales team. This remote, inside sales role is an individual contributor position focused on managing the inside sales process, prospecting new leads, converting qualified leads, and supporting named direct and indirect accounts. This is not a field sales role.
The ideal candidate brings energy, spirit, strong interpersonal skills, and an aptitude for maximizing call time while delivering an excellent customer experience.
This position is fully remote in the United States, candidates based in the East region are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
+ Source and qualify new sales opportunities through inbound leads, outbound calls, and emails, and follow up to re-engage existing opportunities.
+ Manage named direct and indirect accounts, building relationships, brand awareness, and partnerships with distribution and reseller partners.
+ Communicate proactively with customers to understand their needs and provide timely sales support, including order tracking, lead times, and inventory information.
+ Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales manager to ensure a smooth sales process.
+ Prepare presentations and proposals, and regularly close sales to achieve annual quotas.
Requirements
+ Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role; experience in Pro AV or IT industry highly preferred.
+ Deep understanding of the IT/AV Channel, working with distribution partners, resellers, and end users.
+ Advanced working knowledge of Salesforce CRM or similar tools; comfortable building quotes, managing opportunities, and maintaining accurate pipeline data.
+ Strong interpersonal, organizational, and people skills, with excellent attention to detail.
+ Project management skills, working cross-functionally with distribution, reseller, and end-user partners, and coordinating with Engineering when needed.
+ Ability to prioritize multiple high-priority tasks and navigate stressful situations.
+ Aptitude for maximizing call time and personalizing follow-up communications.
+ Comfortable working remotely from a home office.
