Ink Technician
**Job Title: Ink Technician** Job Description As an Ink Technician, you will be responsible for setting up ink to match specifications, matching, formulating, and measuring for designated orders. You will prioritize tasks as needed and perform quality tests and checks to ensure the highest standards. Your role will involve troubleshooting ink issues, maintaining inventory to meet or exceed goals, and updating and maintaining records, reports, samples, and recipes/blends. You will collaborate closely with the graphics department, operations, inventory, leadership, and product development teams. **Shift: training will be 3PM-11PM** **Pay: $21 - $21.50 - based on experience** Responsibilities + Set up ink to match specifications. + Match, formulate, and measure ink for designated orders. + Perform quality tests and checks. + Troubleshoot ink issues. + Maintain inventory to meet or exceed goals/targets. + Update and maintain records, reports, samples, and recipes/blends. + Work closely with graphics department, operations, inventory, leadership, and product development. Essential Skills + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Expertise in color matching and production. + Experience in printing and machine operation. + Ability to troubleshoot effectively. + Capability to set up ink matching on machinery. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with mixing and performing quality tests. + Ability to count inventory accurately. + Familiarity with using standard office equipment such as computer monitors, keyboards, and other office tools. + Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. Work Environment The role is based in a manufacturing environment with potential safety and health hazards. The use of hearing protection, safety shoes, and vision protection is required. Initial training will be conducted from 3 PM to 11 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
