Job Title: Injection Molding Technician
Job Description

The injection molding technician plays a crucial role in setting up and operating high precision molding machines. You will ensure that the molded parts meet specifications by setting up molds, checking and loading materials, fine-tuning process parameters, and performing sample checks. Additionally, maintaining accurate records and operational efficiency of the molding process is essential. The position starts with running one machine, with the potential to progress to running two machines.

Work Environment

The work environment is a CGMP setting, which is clean and well-lit, fostering a family-like atmosphere focused on teamwork. You will work in a clean room environment where lab coats, safety goggles, and safety shoes are provided. Please note that nail polish, perfume, make-up, and jewelry are not permitted. The injection molding department may expose you to smells related to plastic fumes, noise, and heat from the machines. The shift is typically from 9 am to 5 pm, but may shift to 7 am to 3 pm if the workload increases and a second shift opens. Evening and weekend work is rare, with potential for expansion to seven full days of operations.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
