Job Title: Injection Molding Process Technician

Job Description

The Process Technician – Injection Molding is responsible for setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting plastic injection molding machines. This role requires specialized knowledge of materials, specific tools, and equipment, and is located in Greensboro, NC.

ResponsibilitiesOversee injection molding machine processing systems within appropriate process guidelines.Collaborate with the shift team to maximize production requirements and provide directions to packer and utility employees.Ensure the quality of all products meets customer specifications.Review daily production performance to ensure department meets efficiency goals.Set an example for housekeeping and safety standards.Troubleshoot all process-related issues, mold set-ups, and other technical duties for injection molding equipment.Set parameters and standards for molds.Train setup technicians.Work with maintenance staff to address mechanical issues promptly.Perform duties of setup technicians.Understand molding techniques thoroughly.Complete all required process-related paperwork.Analyze processes for improvement and advise management accordingly.Perform other duties as requested by the Department Manager or Shift Supervisor.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of injection molding experience.Strong problem-solving, leadership, and multitasking abilities.Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.Excellent customer service, organizational, public speaking, and written/verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsOperationally savvy, detail-oriented.Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift 2nd shift.Customer-friendly, energetic, and highly organized.Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

Work on the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM. Collaborate with a dedicated team in a dynamic and supportive environment, focusing on production and quality standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greensboro, North Carolina.3

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $67600.00/yr.
