Job Title: Injection Mold Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an Injection Mold Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the operation of our new injection molding line, set to launch in January. We are seeking three dedicated operators to produce plastic buckets using state-of-the-art injection molding machines. Until the machines are installed, candidates will gain valuable experience by working on existing lines within the plant, focusing on packaging and machine operations.

Responsibilities

Operate plastic injection molding machines effectively.Set up machines and perform minor changeovers and adjustments.Change molds and dies as needed.Conduct minor machine maintenance.Work on other production lines for packaging and machine operation.

Essential Skills

1+ years of experience in injection molding.Proficiency in performing basic setups and changeovers.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in performing maintenance on machinery.Experience in mold and die changes.Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a technical diploma.

Work Environment

Work in a large manufacturing plant with over 100 employees, spread across two facilities. The environment can be hot in the summer and may have strong plastic or perfume smells. The plant operates on a three-shift schedule, and flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, or nights, is required.
