**Job Title: Injection Mold Operator and Assembler** **Job Description** Assist and support Tool Room Technicians in all tool room activities, ranging from cleaning of molds to maintaining perishable tooling and dies. Work as part of a team responsible for producing quality workmanship in an efficient and safe manner. **Responsibilities** + Perform light preventative maintenance and changeovers on tools used for production according to the given PM schedule. + Maintain the Tool Room, ensuring it is orderly and safe by following 5S principles. + Actively participate in process improvement activities and contribute to the individual suggestion program. + Assist in other activities as assigned by the lead Tooling Manager. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of experience working in an Injection Molding tool room environment or equivalent vocational schooling. + Experience with mold, injection molding machine, micrometer, calipers, blueprint, Tool & Die, Tooling, Mold Technician, Mold Maintenance, Die Maintenance, Toolroom, Repair, Manual mill, Manual lathe, Troubleshooting, Injection molding, Injection mold, Grinding, and Inventory. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, dental, vision, and 401K. The position is for the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm or 3pm to 11pm, with overtime determined by the production schedule. **Job Type & Location** This position is based out of Palatine, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
