Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 2+ years applied experienceIn-depth experience with IBM MQ/IIB functionality, design, integration, and implementation.Performing MQ and IIB systems programming in a zSeries operating system environment involving maintenance.

Provides analysis, plan, MQ upgrades to new version and apply maintenance. Experience with installation, maintaining, and implementation of z/OS and ISV software .

Understanding Queue Manager, queues, channels and other MQ objects.Proficient knowledge of hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessmentsSoftware development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: Python, Java, C, C++, Go, JCL, REXX, PERL, PHP, JYTHON, zOSMF Workflows, J2EE, MVC, JDBC, Servlets.Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies.General knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and moderate proficiency in relevant scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)Experience with cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
