Infrastructure Engineer

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT 
As an Infrastructure Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer’s mission.   

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise storage systems.

Monitor storage health, troubleshoot issues, and perform upgrades or patches.

Build, configure, and optimize virtualized environments. 

Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and execute routine maintenance in virtualized systems. 

Establish and maintain capacity planning models for storage, server, and virtualized systems. 

Support and administer Windows, Linux, and other relevant operating systems integral to the infrastructure. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED 
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Infrastructure Engineer must have: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.  Experience may be substituted for education. 

Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and administration. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly for capacity/resource visualization and forecasting.

The likely salary range for this position is $148,750 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
