Job Overview

Provide Information Technology Specialist services in support of software modernization efforts for multiple programs at Kessel Run (Hanscom AFB, MA).

 

Work Model: Onsite/In-Office


Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Provide day-to-day IT operations support to include maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting end-users at Kessel Run.Support the development of system security documentation on both new and previously deployed capabilities.Help to maintain the integrity and security of IT systems by identifying risks and working with the appropriate stakeholders to implement a response.Providing corrective action plans, identification, and resolution of service outages in accordance with problem severity and priority.Maintaining full suite of collaboration audio/visual media equipment to ensure all meetings run properly.Work with IT manager to provide the necessary components to successfully operate the network topology and manage the equipment in a secure manner that abides by the Authority-To-Operate (ATO). Providing MAC OS hardware and software support.Inventory Management of electronic devices (iPad, MacBook’s, etc.) to include tracking, receiving, shipping, configurating, documenting/inventory control within eCAMS/DPAS, imaging, and issuing of devices.Provide Device maintenance to include interfacing with Apple for AppleCare, device recovery, device swap-outs, and DRMO process.

 

Accountable for: 

Having the ability to manage and update as necessary the wireless access points throughout the space.Supporting the setup of developer pairing stations for Government Programs already installed.Operating all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) IAW federal, state, county, and local regulations and plans.Support development of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) program and help integrate SCRM with Chugach’s overall risk management process.Effectively communicating with Base Communications POC and Civil Engineering POC to ensure proper and legal installations/manipulations.
Job Requirements

Mandatory:Four (4) years of IT support experience in network, desktop, and server hardwareProven work experience as a network administrator or technician.Strong working knowledge of access, administration, application server, archival, and configuration management software.Occasional travel may be necessary at customer request.Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
