GDIT has an exciting opportunity to support the Enterprise Mission Information Technology Services II (EMITS II) program supporting U.S. Army Europe and Africa’s (USAREUR-AF) mission in Wiesbaden, Germany.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Information Technology Project Manager (IT PM) the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of United States Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF) G6 Policies, Programs, and Projects Division (PPP) providing mission command support.

Lead IT infrastructure, enclave expansion, or modernization projects from planning through executionDevelop project plans, schedules, and milestones in coordination with stakeholders and external partnersCoordinate resources and task assignments across engineering, cyber, sustainment, and field support teamsTrack and report project progress, risks, and budget to PPP leadership and government customersEnsure compliance with DoD IT governance processes, including Change Advisory Board and RMF requirementsDocument requirements, develop work breakdown structures, and oversee contract deliverablesPrepare and brief project status updates, risk mitigation strategies, and lessons learned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science and at least 10+ years of related experienceExperience: 6+ years leading IT projects within DoD or federal environments, including infrastructure or cyber projectsTechnical Skills: Strong understanding of project management principles (PMBOK, Agile, hybrid models) Familiarity with Army IT systems, Change Management processes, and RMF; Ability to create schedules (e.g. MS Project) and track dependencies. ​Experience supporting USAREUR-AF, theater-level IT programs, or expeditionary communications projects; Familiarity with Army G6/NEC constructs, coalition communications architecture, or enclave expansion programs; Background working with requirements analysts and knowledge managers in support of new capability developmentClearance: Active DoD TS with the ability to obtain an SCI is requiredCitizenship: U.S. Citizenship requiredROLE REQUIREMENTS: Experience briefing leadership, preparing reports, and managing project documentation; Ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders across military, civilian, and contractor lines; Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to manage shifting priorities in dynamic environments; Familiarity with Joint or Coalition IT integration preferredCERTIFICATIONS: Required:Project Management Professional (PMP); IAT Level II (e.g. Security+ CE); Preferred: ITIL v4 Foundations (120 days from start);
