Information Technology Associate III
Overview ***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP*** **This Job Posting only applies to RMI Citizens and must be authorized to work in the RMI to be considered for this Job** The Level 3 IT Associate is a proficient professional who supports a wide range of IT functions, including IT Service Desk operations, Audio-Visual projects and events, Telecommunications installations and repairs, and computer hardware support. They possess solid knowledge and experience in these areas and demonstrate the ability to handle various technical challenges. The Level 3 IT Associate provides technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoots IT incidents, and resolves issues within their area of expertise. They collaborate with team members to ensure effective IT operations, deliver high-quality customer service, and contribute to the successful completion of IT projects. The Level 3 IT Associate continues to expand their skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices to provide efficient IT support. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. + Provide proficient support for IT Service Desk operations, addressing and resolving a wide range of technical issues. + Assist in the coordination and execution of Audio-Visual projects and events, ensuring successful outcomes. + Support Telecommunications installations and repairs, following established guidelines and procedures. + Offer computer hardware support, diagnosing and resolving hardware-related problems. + Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth IT operations and timely incident resolution. + Stay informed about industry developments and trends, expanding knowledge in relevant areas. + Provide quality customer service, responding promptly to end-user inquiries and requests. + Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives, following established procedures and guidelines. + Document IT incidents, solutions, and configurations accurately and comprehensively. + Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities. + Other duties as assigned Qualifications + Minimum Qualifications: + Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. + College Degree or equivalent experience + CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification + DOD Information Assurance Awareness Training + Cross Domain Violation Training + Experience: + 5+ years related experience. + Previous experience in a customer service position and automated processing data information input skills. + Prior experience with the US Military or in a Government Contracting environment is desired. + Maximo work order system experience preferred. + Skills + Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal. + Possess Advanced PC technical support skills + Time management and organizational skills + Must be proficient using the latest version of Microsoft Office + Experience using Maximo work order system or similar system + Working Conditions: + Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit. + The worker may be required to spend extended time in a computer room environment. + Physical Requirements: + Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. + Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. + Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
