Our work depends on an Infoblox Systems Engineer joining our team to support Government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD.

As an Infoblox Systems Engineer supporting the Government, you will be trusted to provide Enterprise Infoblox DDI and related services to the Government Agency’s internal/external partners and clients with a focus on stability and performance.
In this role, a typical day may include:
Investigating and diagnosing incidents and problems relating to DDI (Infoblox DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and related servicesEnsuring the platforms and services are managed and maintainedHelping identify and manage risks within the DDI platformWorking with the Government lead and other service areas’ Architecture, Engineering & Operations leads and technical specialists, as well as professional services staff from vendors to implement the plan to deliver a strategic DDI platform and migrate all in-scope services from existing platformsEnsuring that system improvements and changes are implemented and monitoring effects of modificationsDefining the capacity and performance standards, metrics and thresholds and helping build the instrumentation to effectively manage the environmentWHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI polyMust meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA SecurityBachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline +8 years’ experience or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experienceExtensive and recent experience of DNS in a large enterprise (Configuration and Management)Demonstrates knowledge of a broad range of technology towers i.e.: Storage, Virtualization, Intel, Networking, Data Center Migration and Disaster RecoveryIn-depth knowledge of DNS, NTP, IPAM, BIND, and DHCPStrong critical thinking and problem-solving, and the ability to debug complex-cross systems problems, and document root cause including remediation and detectionDemonstrates knowledge of a broad range of technology towers i.e.: Storage, Virtualization, Intel, Networking, Data Center Migration and Disaster RecoveryKnowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are metParticipate in change and incident managementHands on experience with Python and APIsSelf-driven with the ability to manage workload without direct supervisionAnticipating potential problems and acting to minimize the impact they may have on the project or unitAbility to collaborate with different technology towers to achieve common goalsAbility to manage multiple stands of work simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsRequired certifications:
