**Job Title:** Terraform Developer – GCP IAM **Location:** Charlotte, NC | Chandler, AZ | Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite/Week) **Contract Duration:** 12–24 Months **Pay Rate:** $67–$70/hour W2 **Start Date:** ASAP **Job Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled **Terraform Developer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) IAM experience** to join a dynamic team driving cloud identity transformation initiatives. This role involves clearing a technical backlog, developing scalable IAM solutions, and mentoring junior team members in Terraform best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, and manage **Terraform modules** for GCP IAM provisioning and policy automation + Collaborate across security and engineering teams to implement **secure and scalable IAM solutions** + **Resolve IAM backlog** items by building robust infrastructure-as-code solutions + Coach and mentor junior developers on **Terraform and GCP IAM standards** + Ensure compliance with internal and external **security and regulatory requirements** + Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and process improvement initiatives + Support the **integration of IAM systems** with enterprise platforms and applications **Required Qualifications:** + **5+ years** of experience in Information Security Engineering or similar technical field + **3+ years** of hands-on Terraform development, especially in module creation and automation + Deep expertise in **GCP IAM** – roles, service accounts, policies, and permissions + Strong knowledge of **cloud security principles** and identity lifecycle management + Experience working in **agile development environments** + Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to mentor others **Preferred Qualifications:** + Exposure to **multi-cloud IAM** (AWS, Azure) + Experience with **CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices** + Scripting experience in **Python, Bash** , or similar languages + Familiarity with compliance frameworks like **NIST, ISO, SOC2** If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
