Industrial Technician
**Job Title: Industrial Technician** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Technician where you will ensure the optimal operation of a variety of crucial systems. You will work on a rotating shift from Sunday to Tuesday and every other Saturday, from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM. Utilize your expertise to maintain and troubleshoot industrial systems in a clean, temperature-controlled facility. **Responsibilities** + Start systems and observe operations to ensure proper functioning. + Read gauges and instruments, adjusting mechanisms to control fluid levels, pressure, and temperature. + Maintain the proper functioning of refrigeration systems, steam generation, compressed air, hot water, treated water, and glycol systems. + Use water chemistry knowledge to maintain and service equipment. + Monitor the utilities used by the building. + Respond to emergency calls regarding refrigeration on the production floor. + Ensure continuous production operation as it relates to refrigeration equipment, utilities, and HVAC equipment. + Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment. + Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair utility systems equipment as issues arise. + Perform pipefitting and plumbing repairs. + Repair and rebuild pumps, valves, regulators, traps, fans, and more. + Carry out additional duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Boiler, HVAC, and boiler maintenance expertise. + Experience with compressors, plumbing, facilities maintenance, and preventive maintenance. + Proficiency in plant equipment, refrigeration, generator systems, and low-pressure boiler operation. + Knowledge of cooling towers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and mechanical troubleshooting. + Skills in repair, valves, installation, and EPA universal certification. + Water treatment knowledge. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a supportive work environment with ample opportunities for growth and advancement. Candidates train on days for 4-8 weeks and must be able to work 12 hours per day on an assigned shift with some daily and weekend overtime.
