This position will be supporting the Northrop Grumman Intelligence Systems Division and the Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector (NGSP) Counterintelligence (CI) and Insider Threat Program (ITP). The successful candidate will report directly to the NGSP CI/ITP Security Manager and will be part of a team of professionals all working continually to address an ever-changing threat landscape. Members of this team are located in strategic locations throughout the United States. The successful candidate for this position will work on-site in Redondo Beach, CA at the Space Park campus. This position requires an extensive understanding of Counterintelligence, insider threat, and conducting investigations. The successful candidate must also be able to employ ingenuity and innovation to solve problems.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Conduct in-depth investigations related to counterintelligence and insider threats, as well as other security-related issues.Develop and implement CI and insider threat awareness campaigns consistent with the goals and vision set forth by the Sector Security Manager.Collaborate with internal business partners and other cross-functional disciplines to execute a holistic approach to identify root causes to CI, insider threat, and other security-related issues.Establish and maintain internal and external partnerships and attend relevant working groups.Stay current on the latest trends, threats, and technologies in the field of CI, insider threat and security.Provide expert guidance and recommendations on security best practices and counterintelligence protocols.Other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experienceWill consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degreeRequires previous Counterintelligence, Insider Threat, and/or Investigative experienceRequires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance with an active Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph at time of applicationPreferred Qualifications:
Previous Experience working in federal Counterintelligence Agent with FBI, AFOSI, etc.Comprehensive knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program, Intelligence Community Directives, and related trainingExperience and familiarity with U.S. Government law enforcement, intelligence systems, and regulatory bodiesYour Distinct Strength:

Primary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
