Industrial Product Manager
Job Description The Industrial Product Manager serves as the global business owner for a large company that specializes in industrial automation's ARB Sorter S7000, defining customer value across markets and converting both expressed and emerging needs into clear product direction. This role shapes and maintains a customer‑focused roadmap, partners with Sales to expand into new segments, and continuously integrates insights from customers, competitors, and cross‑functional teams. Working closely with technical product owners and Engineering/R&D, the Product Manager drives standardized, scalable solutions, navigates tradeoffs, and manages the full lifecycle from development through obsolescence. Responsibilities include guiding commercialization, evaluating custom requests, equipping pre‑sale teams, and aligning stakeholders across functions. The role also leads effective launches, ensures supporting materials and training are in place, and partners with Aftermarket to resolve product issues, support customers, and deliver upgrades and retrofit solutions that enhance installed‑base value. Compensation: $135,000 to $150,000 per year annual salary (+ bonuses). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics, or related field - 5+ years of product management experience - Experience managing the full lifecycle of industrial products - Ability to travel nationwide and internationally up to 35% of the time - Experience in customer-facing contexts (e.g. sales engagements, deal cycles, customer negotiations) with firsthand insight into how product capabilities influence wins, losses, and pricing - Strong leadership presence
