**Job Title: Industrial Painter** **Responsibilities** + Apply paint and other coatings to various surfaces, ensuring proper preparation by cleaning, sanding, and repairing defects as needed. + Inspect parts for quality, including checking weld integrity and identifying surface imperfections. + Mix paints to match specified colors and operate equipment such as paint sprayers, sanders, and sandblasters. + Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and cranes, and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment. + Maintain a clean work area and ensure good housekeeping practices. + Assist in other departments as temporarily assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with painting, including paint preparation and sanding. + Proficiency in using spray guns and general labor skills. + Ability to distinguish quality paint jobs and maintain tools and equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior painting experience is preferred. + Commitment to efficiency, quality, and safety standards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Fowlerville, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.
