We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team on the 1st shift, working Monday through Thursday from 7am to 4pm, and Fridays from 7am to 11am. The role involves preparing surfaces and applying wet paint using HVLP guns. You will ensure the quality and consistency of finished products and maintain the coating equipment.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces for coating by sanding, grinding, and cleaning.Operate HVLP guns and related equipment to apply wet paint.Ensure proper curing of coated parts using industrial ovens.Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and consistency.Maintain and troubleshoot powder coating equipment and spray booths.Monitor inventory of powders and supplies and coordinate with purchasing.Enforce safety and environmental regulations in the coating area.Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and standards.Prepping and washing parts.Essential SkillsProficient in using HVLP spray equipment and industrial ovens.Strong understanding of surface preparation, coating thickness, and curing processes.Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.1+ years of experience in powder coating.Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.Why Work Here?Join a smaller, family-owned company that values its employees and promotes a close-knit community. Work EnvironmentThe shop consists of approximately 30 hourly employees on the floor, providing a collaborative and team-oriented atmosphere. You will be working with HVLP spray equipment and industrial ovens, adhering to a set schedule, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
