**Job Title: Industrial Painter** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Painter with experience in sanding, priming, taping, finishing, and spraying. The ideal candidate should have at least six months of experience in industrial painting and the ability to read both metric and standard tape measures. **Responsibilities** + Perform industrial painting tasks including sanding, priming, taping, finishing, and spraying. + Read and interpret metric and standard measurements. + Operate electric hand grinders and overhead cranes as needed. + Meet production standards and deadlines. + Perform sand and shot blasting operations. **Essential Skills** + 6 months experience in industrial painting or completion of a paint certification course. + Ability to read tape measures in both metric and standard formats. + Experience with HVLP, paint preparation, spray, electrostatic, and blasting techniques. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with electric hand grinding. + Knowledge of overhead crane operations. + Ability to meet production standards. + Experience in sand/shot blasting is a plus. + No high school diploma or GED required. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that offers competitive pay rates and excellent benefits, including profit sharing, production bonuses, tuition reimbursement, and paid training for higher certifications. You'll work with paint chemicals and will be on your feet 100% of the time on concrete floors and platforms, climbing step stools as needed. Be prepared to work in a variety of buildings alongside machinists, welders, assemblers, and forklift operators. Shifts include a 1st shift from 5am - 3:30pm and a weekend shift from 6am to 6pm, with overtime possibilities extending to 10 or 12 hours. Flexibility to work both 1st and 2nd shifts is required due to increasing headcount and the potential for a full 2nd shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shady Grove, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $20.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
