Temp-to-Hire position$21.00 to $24.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredVarious shifts available (Sunday through Saturday from 06:00am to 06:00pm)Responsible for the surface preparation and paint operations in support of fabricating wind turbine towers.Equipment and processes include wash equipment, blast hose disbursing metal grit, metallizing equipment.Setup blasting. metalizing and paint equipment by setting parameters and making adjustmentsUtilize wash, blast metalize and paint equipment and tooling to prep and paint the internal and external surface of a tower sectionIndustrial Painter Qualifications:
1 year work experience in heavy fabrication industry, surface prep and/or paint industry, construction or other related fieldMust be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructionsStanding and or walking for periods up to 3 hoursFrequent lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder heightUse of hand tools weighing up to 15 poundsApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
