Industrial Painter
**Industrial Painter** **$25-$29/hr** **Job Description** The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing and painting steel and aluminum trailers and containers. This includes bodywork, paint mixing, application, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. **Responsibilities** + Prepare surfaces through sanding and metal preparation for optimal paint adhesion. + Apply paint using spray systems and other tools, ensuring a flawless finish. + Repair any paint flaws to maintain high-quality standards. + Mix and handle paints and solvents with adherence to safety protocols. + Maintain the paint booth and storage areas to ensure a clean and safe environment. + Handle hazardous waste according to safety regulations. + Operate lifts, scaffolding, and reclamation systems safely and efficiently. + Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure project success. **Essential Skills** + Experience in large manufacturing painting. + Proficiency with metallic paints and clear coats. + Ability to read technical data sheets and safety documents. + Strong math and measurement skills. + Effective communication and multitasking abilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift certification (training provided if needed). **Why Work Here?** Join a team where safety and quality are prioritized. Enjoy a structured workweek in a setting that emphasizes safety and environmental compliance. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
