Industrial Painter
**Job Title: Industrial Painter** **Job Description** The Industrial Painter will be responsible for setting up paint mixes and preparing parts for painting. This includes masking and prepping parts, applying liquid paint to ensure even coverage, and checking the thickness of the paint to meet quality standards. The role requires wearing proper PPE, such as a respirator or face mask, during painting. Additionally, the individual will assist in other areas when the paint line is not busy and use a computer to schedule and complete jobs. **Responsibilities** + Mask and prepare parts for painting. + Apply liquid paint to evenly cover products. + Check parts to ensure paint thickness is between 1-2 mm. + Assist in other areas when the paint line is not busy. + Wear proper PPE while painting. + Use a computer to schedule and complete jobs. **Essential Skills** + Experience in paint preparation and industrial painting. + Proficiency with spray guns and paint booths. + 1-2 years of industrial painting experience preferred. + Familiarity with liquid paint application. + Ability to work with computers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Cerakote is ideal, though experience with powder coating or autobody painting is also acceptable. + Knowledge of blasting, sandblasting, and industrial paint techniques. + 1-2 years of painting experience. + ITAR compliance. **Why Work Here?** This position offers internal advancement opportunities, including potential moves into lead roles. The work area is small, clean, and climate-controlled, with some of the nicer paint booths in the industry. The first shift operates from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, while the second shift runs from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with 1-3 months of training on the first shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
