**Job Title: Industrial Painter** Job Description The Industrial Painter is a skilled tradesperson responsible for applying protective coatings to plastics. This role demands a strong attention to detail, knowledge of industrial-grade coatings, and strict adherence to all safety regulations. Responsibilities + Apply paint and other protective coatings using spray guns. + Maintain and clean spray painting equipment and other tools, ensuring they are in working order. + Operate forklifts as needed. + Inspect completed work for defects and ensure a uniform, high-quality finish that meets company and customer standards. + Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment such as respirators, gloves, and safety glasses. + Follow all environmental and hazardous waste disposal regulations. + Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on projects. + Work effectively with other team members to meet project goals. Essential Skills + High school diploma or GED equivalent. + A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field. + Certification in industrial painting or coating applications. + Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. + Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to stand, climb, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods. + Excellent vision, including the ability to perceive differences in color, shade, and brightness.
