**Job Title: Industrial Painter**
Job Description
The Industrial Painter is a skilled tradesperson responsible for applying protective coatings to plastics. This role demands a strong attention to detail, knowledge of industrial-grade coatings, and strict adherence to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Apply paint and other protective coatings using spray guns.
+ Maintain and clean spray painting equipment and other tools, ensuring they are in working order.
+ Operate forklifts as needed.
+ Inspect completed work for defects and ensure a uniform, high-quality finish that meets company and customer standards.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment such as respirators, gloves, and safety glasses.
+ Follow all environmental and hazardous waste disposal regulations.
+ Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
+ Work effectively with other team members to meet project goals.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field.
+ Certification in industrial painting or coating applications.
+ Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
+ Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to stand, climb, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
+ Excellent vision, including the ability to perceive differences in color, shade, and brightness.

Work Environment
The position is based in a plastic thermoforming company and operates on a 1st shift schedule. Safety equipment such as respirators, gloves, and safety glasses are required to ensure a safe work environment.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
Profile Plastics, Inc. is a privately owned company, which serves the OEM marketplace primarily within the medical, food service, material handling, and heavy truck industries by supplying housings, covers and enclosures. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for spray painting production parts by ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are met.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Lake Bluff,IL.
