Job Title: Industrial Painter/BlasterJob Description

We are seeking experienced Industrial Painters/Blasters to perform coating and surface preparation work on industrial tanks, structural steel, and related equipment. This role is vital for ensuring high-quality finishes and protection of critical industrial assets.

ResponsibilitiesPerform industrial painting and blasting on tanks, structural steel, and related equipment.Conduct surface preparation work, including sanding and sandblasting.Utilize paint booths and other equipment to apply industrial coatings.Read and follow technical specifications and safety procedures.Ensure all work meets industry standards and quality expectations.
Essential SkillsMinimum of 4 years experience in industrial painting and blasting.Proficiency with surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC/NACE) and various coating systems.Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and safety procedures.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with paint prep and sandblasting techniques.Familiarity with industrial paint applications in various environments.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays, from 7am to 5pm. Projects are located within 60-70 miles of the office, with per diem provided for travel over one hour.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charles City, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
