Job Title: Industrial Painter

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. The role involves prepping metal products for paint, setting up the spray painting gun, and spraying and coating parts in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare metal products for painting by cleaning and sanding surfaces.Set up and operate spray painting guns and equipment.Perform a wide variety of painting and coating processes, including polyurethane, epoxy, and powder coating.Prepare parts for inspection and ensure quality standards are met.Work from drawings, orders, and instructions to determine processes and procedures.Maintain appropriate documentation for manufacturing and environmental purposes.Ensure all equipment is maintained and in good working condition.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in industrial painting or powder coating.Proficiency in paint preparation and booth painting.Experience with HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) paint spraying.Knowledge of paint mixing and CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience painting large quantities of small parts is a plus.Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is a metal plating facility with two locations. The PA Ave location specializes in plating, quality control, and shipping, while the Boxwood location focuses on assembly, painting, some plating, and powder coating. The facility contains tanks filled with liquid for plating and general manufacturing equipment. Safety knowledge is crucial as the facility can be hot in summer and cold in winter.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Berlin, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
