Job Title: Industrial Painter

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join the team at the Alma plant, working on the night shift. The role involves preparing surfaces of parts and equipment for paint application, applying primers and other coatings according to blueprints, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. The position requires assembling and disassembling paint equipment for cleaning and ensuring proper coating adhesion through advanced knowledge of blast profiles.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces of parts and equipment for paint application.Apply primers and other coatings according to blueprints.Clean and maintain work areas.Assemble and disassemble paint equipment for cleaning.Operate paint or spray equipment for manufactured products requiring standard finishes.Lift up to 50 lbs., with mechanical assistance required for weights over 50 lbs.Perform frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing of ladders.Essential Skills1+ years of industrial paint experience including coating, masking, and prep work.Experience with spray guns, ideally not airless.Knowledge in paint preparation and application.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.High School Diploma or GED.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a paint shop, sandblasting, and sanding.Familiarity with paint booth operations.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31200.00 - $39520.00/yr.
