Industrial Painter

Job Description

Join our team as an Industrial Painter, where you will receive training to grind, sand, and clean metal frames for cooling and heating systems. The ideal candidate will prepare fabrications for paint using sanding equipment and solvents, build skids and crates to specifications, and package materials to prevent damage during transit. You will also clean, insulate, and label products, preparing these parts for the paint department.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare metal frames for painting using sanding equipment and solvents.Build skids and crates according to provided specifications.Package materials to prevent damage during transit.Clean, insulate, and label products.Assist the paint department by prepping parts for painting.Use various power tools and hand tools effectively.Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Read and use basic measuring tools such as rules or measuring tapes.Bend and stand for up to 8 hours a day.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED (Required)2-3 years of experience in industrial painting and mechanical assembly2-3 years of experience operating spray painting equipment (HVLP Spray gun preferred)2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or fabricationAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in assembling industrial cooling or HVAC equipmentFamiliarity with ISO 9001 manufacturing environmentsForklift certification or willingness to obtainWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes a small section of the warehouse in the fabrication department, where you will have your own workstation with a selection of tools. Shift times are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Safety gear including a face mask, glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots must be worn at all times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
