Job Title: Industrial Mechanic/PLC Technician

We are seeking a dedicated PLC Technician responsible for establishing and maintaining all manufacturing equipment within the production areas. The role involves starting up equipment, reviewing ladder logic, and ensuring machinery and equipment are in optimum working condition.

ResponsibilitiesProvide technical assistance to operators and supervisors on mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic problems.Recommend replacement of equipment and schedule preventive maintenance.Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components for manufacturing equipment, including variable speed motors, VFDS, Micromaster drives, encoders, contractors, relays, and related software programs.Solve electrical problems involving control wiring and board repairs.Use all electrical measurement devices and mechanic tools effectively.Interpret equipment operation and parts manuals, electrical schematics, and perform computer tasks related to work.Troubleshoot, repair, and install low and high voltage (single, three phase) industrial electromechanical and control systems for utility and production equipment.Install, wire, and maintain relays, photo-eyes, limit switches, proximity switches, solenoid valves, motors, starters, VFDs, PLC I/O modules, analog control devices, and safety circuits.Layout circuits, install fixtures, bend and run conduit, and install motors and other electrical devices and components.Essential SkillsIndustrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, VFD, PLC, Electrician, Electrical, Automation, TroubleshootingAdditional Skills & Qualifications10+ years of experience working as a PLC Technician in an industrial manufacturing environment.PLC wiring and troubleshooting experience is a plus.Mechanical troubleshooting experience.Ability to perform mechanical work, including valve replacement, conveyor bearing and chain replacement, motor/gearbox replacement, and electrical lube routes.Must provide own basic tools.Experience reading blueprints and schematics.Work Environment

This position operates within a manufacturing environment that is dusty and not temperature-controlled.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
