**Job Title: Industrial Mechanic**
**Job Description**
As an Industrial Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of production equipment including motors, conveyor systems, PLC programs, blow mold machines, injection mold machines, material handling equipment, AC/DC drives, lighting systems, and blending/mixing systems. You will also optimize equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure quality and safety.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to optimize efficiency, downtime, quality, and safety.
+ Read blueprints and technical manuals.
+ Perform equipment and mold changes, and set-ups.
+ Repair, replace, and adjust electrical or mechanical parts in machines and equipment.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance and repair on hydraulic equipment, electrical and mechanical components, blow mold machines, and conveyor systems.
+ Install new equipment and overhaul machines when necessary.
+ Respond to maintenance issues from operators, packers, quality assurance, and plant supervision.
+ Train, instruct, and mentor new hires or lower-level maintenance staff.
+ Handle pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, sensors, bearings, air pressure equipment, drives, valves, AC/DC, cylinders, pumps, various shafts, and other secondary equipment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in maintenance mechanics, electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, welding, machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, repair, fabrication, and preventive/corrective maintenance.
+ Proficiency in industrial maintenance and repair.
+ Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
+ Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience with 3-phase motors and maintenance repair.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Can withstand manufacturing working conditions.
+ Proficiency in MS Office preferred.
+ Knowledge of 5S preferred.
+ 2-year degree or 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.

**Work Environment**
The position is in a manufacturing environment with three available shifts: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM), 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), and 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM).
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Branchburg, New Jersey.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
