**Industrial Mechanic | Entry-Level** **Seeking entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude such as automotive mechanic, farm mechanics, etc. who would like to grow and develop in an industrial setting.** **Responsibilities** + Follow preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment during shifts. + Observe equipment in operation to locate problems using all senses. + Examine parts and assemblies for dimensional changes or imperfections. + Dismantle equipment to access damaged or worn parts. + Repair or replace worn or defective parts and adjust functional parts. + Test equipment performance to ensure functionality. + Install power wiring and conduit for new equipment, connect and test power wires. + Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v using meters and test equipment. + Program and troubleshoot AC and DC drive systems. + Align motors to manufacturer specifications. + Replace faulty components like boards and cables, initiating purchase requisitions. + Ensure thorough corrective actions with proper lockout/tagout procedures. + Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic components. + Create finished metal products from sheet piping or structural steel. + Utilize MIG/TIG welding, brazing, cutting/burning, and stick welding techniques. + Change extruder screws and barrels as per manufacturer recommendations. + Operate metal shear, bender, band saw, and plasma cutter. + Follow all company safety rules and maintain housekeeping standards. **Why Work Here?** + Direct placement. + Opportunity to learn a new trade and grow and develop in an industrial setting. + Employees start earning PTO after 90 days and receive two weeks of vacation after one year. + Benefits become effective the month following the start date, offering a comprehensive package to support work-life balance. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
