Job Title: Industrial/ Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

This role focuses on improving efficiency within the internal logistics of material flow within the plant, utilizing a combination of engineering expertise and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead equipment installations and automation projects to enhance material flow efficiency.Program and optimize Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for logistical operations.Integrate and manage industrial I/O platforms such as Ignition, Banner, and SICK.Apply logistics concepts and process optimization to improve material handling processes.Utilize the Toyota Production System (TPS) and lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology or equivalent experience.Proven project management experience with equipment installations or automation projects.Experience in programming Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).Familiarity with industrial integration platforms like Ignition, Banner, and SICK.Strong understanding of logistics concepts, material flow, and process optimization.Knowledge of the Toyota Production System (TPS) and lean manufacturing principles.Proficiency in Python programming.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Batesville, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
